Islamabad: An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Thursday acquitted Prime Minister Imran Khan in the PTV attack case.
The ATC had earlier reserved the decision after hearing arguements three days ago.
Giving the judgment, Judge Raja Jawad Abbas acquitted PM Imran. The judge ruled that others accused including Asad Umar, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Pervez Khattak and Shafqat Mahmood would be indicted.
The verdict says the president enjoys immunity therefore the case could not proceed against him.
