At least 11 passengers burnt alive after van catches fire in Sargodha

Sargodha: At least 11 passengers were burnt to death when a passenger van they were travelling in caught a fire on Bhalwal road in Bhera on Thursday. 

Police and rescue officials said that the ill-fated van was travelling from Islamabad to Lahore when the accident occurred.

They said that 11 passengers, including two women were burnt alive and several others injured when a passenger van caught fire after one of its tyres burst.

The bodies and the injured were shifted to he THQ Hospital.
