At least 25 people have been killed in an explosion in Kalaya Bazar area of lower Orakzai agency of Hangu district, a local TV reported on Friday quoting residents of the area.
According to eyewitnesses, 25 people have been killed and several others injured in the explosion near an imambargah.
The injured have been shifted to the KDA teaching hospital in Kohat.
Security personnel have reached the area and started an operation. No official statement from security agencies has been issued so far. Nature of the blast is so far unknown.
Casualties are expected to rise.
