At least 62 injured as aftershocks rattle Mirpur, Jhelum

MIRPUR: Over 60 people were injured when aftershocks rattled the quake-affected areas in Mirpur and Jhelum on Thursday.

The aftershocks were of 4.7 magnitude and their epicenter was six kilometers north of Jhelum with the depth of 12km, according to the US Geological Survey.

The Islamabad’s National Seismic Monitoring Centre said that the epicenter of the aftershocks measuring 4.4 magnitude was 6km north of Jhelum with the depth of 12 km.

Also, Lahore and Sialkot felt minor tremors forcing residents to come out of their houses and workplaces.
