KARACHI: At least 14 restaurants and two gaming zones have been sealed in Karachi over violating the Covid-19 related standard operating procedures (SOPs) here on Wednesday.
Sources said that all the restaurants and gaming zones were sealed in the city’s south district.
Irshad Ali Sodhar, the deputy commissioner south said that a total of 41 eateries were inspected and of them 14 were sealed. Two gaming zones were also closed over violating of SOPs, he added.
The deputy commissioner further said that four wedding halls were also inspected and fined Rs185,000 after issuing warnings.
