Islamabad: The High Court granted permanent bail to former president Asif Ali Zardari on medical grounds in the Rs8 billion fake bank account case.
Islamabad high court justice Amir Farooq and justice Mohsin Akhter Kiyani heard the petition on bail.
Nab prosicuter said on judical inquiry that,a refrence file has not yet been filed in this case,the matter is under investigation stage. Justice Amir Farooq gave remarks on this that, This case would also be make part of the supplementary refrence to the pre-filed fake bank accounts.
Ex-President’s lawyer Farooq Naik said that, His client remained on remand for two months after his arrest, meanwhile nab could have investigate him, Asif Zardari still agree to be included in investigation.
Farooq Naik pleaded pre-arrest bail of Asif Ali Zardari on medical ground, which was granted by highcourt ,and barred Nab for arresting Asif Zardari.
While Justice Mohsin Akhter Kiyani said that, The question of Nab is that Asif Zardari should have not go abroad,if the charge is not proved in the main case of fake accounts, Then it will not be possible in this case also.
