PESHAWAR: Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) was shot dead by unidentified assailants at Afridiabad in the limit of Yakatooth police station here on Thursday.
According to police, ASI in Traffic Police, Aftab Khan was on way for duty when reached at Esakhel on Dorra road was ambushed by armed men riding motorbike. He died on the spot after receiving several bullets wounds.
Police have cordoned off the area and started investigation.
