CARDIFF: England set Australia 412 runs target to win the Ashes first Test.

England scored 430 runs in its first inning and 289 runs in the second inning while Australia made 308 runs in its first inning.

England’s bats man Root scored 134 runs and Ali made 77-run in the first inning. While Starc took 5 wickets in the inning.

Australian opener Rogers made 95 runs in the first inning. England’s batsman Bell and Root scored 60 runs each in the second inning. While Australia off-spinner Nathan Lyon took four for 75.
