Asad hints at imposing stronger restrictions if SOPs not followed

ISLAMABAD: Planning Minister and chief of the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) Asad Umar hinted at imposing stronger restrictions if the standard operating procedures (SOPs) were not followed.

In his message on Twitter, the federal minister said that a sharp spike had been witnessed in the positivity of the Covid-19.

He added that the hospital daily admissions and people in critical care were rising fast. SOPs compliance does not improve, we will be forced to place stronger restrictions on activities.

He advised citizens to be very very careful, adding the new strain was spreading faster and is more deadly.
