KARACHI: An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Karachi on Monday issued the arrest warrant for the Assistant Director of Airport Security Force (ASF) in the Karachi airport attack case.
According to details, the hearing of the Karachi airport attack case resumed today in an ATC.
The ATC said that Assistant Director ASF, Muhammad Iqbal is a plaintiff in the case and despite several notices has not appeared in court. Three suspects were arrested in the Karachi airport attack case; Sarmad Siddiqui, Nadeem alias Burger and Asif Zaheer.
As many as 28 persons, including personnel of ASF and 10 foreign militants were killed during the attack, while TTP and Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan (UMI) had claimed the responsibility for the attack.
