KARACHI: Arrangements are in full swing to hold a two days worker convention in Karachi by Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Sindh.
The convention, to be held on November 26 and 27, is also extra ordinary significant as the JI’s top leadership would be announcing the party’s future course of action in connection with the anti-corruption drive as well as its strategy for the upcoming 2018 general elections.
Permission has already been granted by the administration for the two days convention. Necessary construction work is under way at the Bag-e-Jinnah. Separate temporary halls have been established for men and women. Food court and other necessities would also be made available there.
Various designates from across the world would be addressing that convention while the program would be culminated at a big public gathering. On the occasion, special session would also be held for youth.
Advertisements and other promotional activities are also being carried out to ensure that a large number of people would be participating in the final session of the convention.
Meanwhile tens of thousands of people from all walk of life, including doctors, lawyers, engineers and educationists have consented to participate in the two day convention. Besides this, Ulema, scholars, students and people from other walks of life would be participating in the event.
