Army rescue 40,000 flood affectees: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: Army has rescued at least 40,000 flood affectees and 73530 domestic animals so far, said Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a statement.

ISPR on Sunday said that army carried on rescue and relief operations in Dera Ghazi Khan, Rajanpur, Layyah and other flood affected areas. While 803 patients were treated in army’s free medical camps. ISPR said that 960 people were shifted from Layyah and surrounding areas.
