KARACHI: Chief of Army Staff Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa arrived in Karachi on his first visit to the city since assuming the charge of COAS, an ISPR statement said on Wednesday.
The Army Chief visited the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam, laid a floral wreath and offered ‘fateha’.
Later, he came to the Core Headquarters Karachi where he was given a briefing on the ongoing operation in the city and overall law and order situation.
