RAJANPUR: Police and security agencies launched a joint operation on intelligence reports in Head Hamid and Basti Ghambra areas near Rajanpur on Sunday and recovered arms and explosive material buried in cotton crop fields.
The law enforcement agencies recovered arms explosive material and ball bearings from the fields during operation. The sources said the arms were to be used for terrorist activities in Punjab.
The law enforcement agencies also recovered 250 grams of marijuana, 100 grams of heroin during operation.
