American technological giant Apple, who recently unveiled the iPhone X, has already started new project of OLED iPhones for 2018.

According to KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the company is preparing two OLED phones for next year. The report also suggests that the phones might return to the stainless steel frames to improve data transmission quality.

The iPhone X has a similar type of frame around the edges with antenna bands dividing it in four. If the prediction is accurate, we might see a new appearance of the phone’s casing.

Currently the new iPhone X is the only Apple device with an OLED screen.

According to previous info, the panels might be manufactured by Apple itself. Most likely the two new devices will be a regular device and a plus-sized version.

KGI expects Apple to ditch the Touch ID entirely for Face ID next year. It is also on its way to the iPad Pros that are coming in the spring. One thing that will not appear is the TrueDepth Camera on the rear dual-cam setup.
