Anyone wants to leave MQM not to be stopped: Altaf Hussain

LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain on Wednesday complained that every blamed is being thrown over him without an investigation.

Altaf Hussain while addressing via telephone to emergency meeting of MQM held in Nine Zero Karachi said that the political party will not get feared by such baseless allegations.

He said that same allegations were levelled in 1992 to let down the political party which turned unsuccessful. MQM supreme said that the country is going through a tough time.

Altaf Hussain offered that the activists wanted to leave the political party will not be stopped and they were all allowed to leave MQM.

The statement came forth after emergence of the documentary released by British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) that revealed that Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) is receiving Indian funds.

BBC quoted two MQM leaders residing in London said that UK authorities who are investigating MQM alleged money laundering case also found list of weapons which are party’s property. It was also revealed that India has trained hundreds of MQM militants over last 10 years.
