LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif Saturday said that National Action Plan (NAP) was a unanimous decision of the political and the military leadership.
Addressing participants of Anti-Terrorism Force’s (ATF) third passing our parade in Lahore, he congratulated the personnel of ATF and their parents on the occasion.
He said that the personnel would ensure safety of the lives and properties of the people. He hoped that the fresh personnel would fight terrorism to the best of their abilities. He said that the ATF would clear the country of terrorism.
While talking about Operation Zarb-e-Azb he said that the Pakistan Army is making history with the kind of success it has gained. He said that the country’s safety is in good hands and that the nation is hopeful.
He claimed that the Punjab government was recruiting policemen on merit. Shahbaz said that Pakistan’s security forces remain alert day and night to counter militants.
