KARACHI: Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) of police on Friday arrested another suspect of the Safoora carnage in Karachi.
Police sources claim that the terrorist named Asad-ur-Rehman has confessed entering the ill-fated bus and killing innocent passengers.
CTD claimed that a car and firearms have been recovered from the suspect’s custody.
The car is said to bring the culprits of the deadly attack on the members of Ismaili Community.
The criminals escaped in the same car.
Gunmen stormed a bus in Karachi last month, killing 45 members of the Ismaili minority community in one of the deadliest incidents in Pakistan this year.
