BADIN: Another case was registered against estranged leader of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Zulfiqar Mirza on Friday (today) in Badin.
Police have registered the another case against the PPP leader and his accomplices in charges of vandalism and fuss.
Supporters of Mirza have brought out a rally in Badin on Thursday (yesterday) and clash was reported during the rally with supporters of PPP in Badin.
Dr Zulfikar Mirza, suffered a setback in his legal battle with the authorities on Thursday when an antiterrorism court (ATC) threw out his pleas seeking replacement of the investigation officer (IO) and recording of his statement either at his residence or in court.
However, Dr Mirza was granted anticipatory bail by a district and sessions court in a newly registered case against him at Arambagh police station.
It is pertinent to mention here that Dr Zulfikar Mirza, was recently booked in a series of criminal cases in Badin, Hyderabad and Karachi.
