QUETTA: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) seized 9.47 tons of drugs during separate action in various districts of Balochistan on Friday.
According to details, ANF conducted intelligence based operations in Killi Sherdil Khan, Tehsil Muslim Bagh, District Qilla Saifullah and recovered 4313 Kg of Opium and 1672 Kg Amphetamine.
The ANF also seized 3489 Kg of Opium from unpopulated site of Killi Sardar Kamal Khan, Tehsil Barshore, district Pishin. Both the drug consignments were concealed at desolate sites outside the populated area.
As per preliminary details, the drug consignments were placed at a cache site for handing over to some other narcotics gangs. On receipt of safe signals, the drug consignments were to be transported to some safe location situated at coastal belt for smuggling abroad through the sea.
