Spokesman of the Jamaat e Islami, Amirul Azeem, who was MMA candidate from NA, 135, has greeted PTI Chairman Imran Khan, on the victory of his party and said this was the fruit of Imran Khan’s struggle for the last twenty two years.
However, he prayed that Allah Almighty may showered this country and the Muslim Ummah with His blessings.
In a statement here, he however said that “ we would be in a position to tell the nation whether this fruit was sweet or otherwise”.
Amirul Azeem thanked the JI workers, his supporters and well wishers who worked for him in the recent months and put in their entire efforts. He said he was personally grateful to all of them. He further said that although they were expecting the result of the polls yet they all continued their efforts till the last moment.
He said that vote bank did not correctly show the popularity of an individual or party not did it raise anyone’s’ image. The vote bank only increased popularity of an individual or party. He said that those who gained popularity due to vote bank had to later face the public wrath as well.
