LONDON: Legendary West Indian pacer Michael Holding has backed Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Amir and said the left-arm quick has everything which a bowler required.

Holding in his recent comment for Amir who is on the road to make his return in international cricket, said that he [Amir] doesn’t need his [Holding] advice.

“Amir already had everything a fast bowler required, he’ll be back to his best soon,” Holding said.

Talking about former skipper Misbah-ul-Haq’s role, he said “Misbah stabilised the Pakistan team when it was needed most. He’s a good and sensible man who has done a lot for Pakistan cricket.”

Amir was handed a five year ban for his involvement in spot fixing scandal in a Test match against England at Lord’s in 2010, with the five-year ban was scheduled to expire on September 2 this year.
