Pakistan’s spear head Mohammad Amir, who is playing the English county, is doing wonders with the bowl in hand, as he was named player of the month in the ongoing Natwest T20 Blast.
The 25-year-old went on to social media to thanks his fans on the recent development, “Shukar Alhumdulilah for being player of the week and player of the month will continue my hard work but would always need ur prayers,” wrote Amir on Twitter.
The pacer has been enjoying a fine form lately with figures of 2-18, 2-25, 5-18 and 5-54 in last encounters.
Earlier, the swing bowler made his presence felt at the English county after the pacer claimed a career best 10 wicket haul against Yorkshire at County Championship Division One.
