A New York-based company designed a unique shoes, claiming to give you a feeling of walking on a surface of moon while walking on the earth.
Moonshine Crea, the maker of the shoe, claims the Moonwalker gives you a feeling of walking on a cushion of air, Daily Mail reported.
The company named it as 20:16 Moonwalker that promised to experience people reduced weight due to special layers of powerful magnets inside the soles.
According to report, people may soon be able to reproduce the feeling of a moon walk on a high street near you, saving yourself the 478,000 mile (768,000 km) round trip. Inside the sole are two layers of powerful N-45 neodymium magnets, faced pole to pole, which repel each other, exerting a powerful magnetic force which give the feeling of reduced weight.
The sole is made from memory foam and the main body of the shoe is made of durable, breathable fabric, which is spot clean only.
The inside of the shoe is composed of a synthetic polyethylene, which the firm claims is the same material used on the modules of the International Space Station.
As for the magnets themselves, they range from one to two inches in diameter (2.5 cm to 5 cm), with the larger magnets capable of shifting up to 27 lbs (12 kg) of weight.
Due to the uneven distribution of weight by the wearer’s foot, the larger magnets are placed at the ball and heel of the foot, where maximum weight is distributed.
A shop is also planned to sell the shoes from early 2017. The 20:16 Moonwalker will be available in European sizes from 36 to 47 and while there is no weight limit, its makers state they work best if the wearer is under 286 lbs (130 kg).
A first generation pair of shoes is up for grabs for $89 (£62), while a pair of Moonwalker V2s, which can have the white sides customised with text the user chooses, are going for $139 (£97).
