LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain has been presented at police station to appear before Scotland Yard in connection with an ongoing investigation into alleged money laundering here on Monday.
As per details, the Scotland Yard had reportedly recovered around 0.6m pounds from MQM’s London secretariat and Altaf Hussain’s residence in a raid during investigation in Imran Farooq murder case.
The Scotland Yard had deferred the hearing of MQM head’s July hearing till October.
MQM leaders Tariq Mir and Muhammad Anwar would appear before the Scotland Yard on Oct 6 and 7 respectively.
