KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain condemned in strong words the Rangers raid on party MNA Ali Raza Abidi’s restaurant in Karachi.
The restaurant was raided on Thursday night and Rangers took into custody the MNA’s cousin Hasan Raza along with two other people. Hasan Raza was later released.
In a statement released from party headquarters, Hussain termed the raid and arrest an open violation of law claiming that Rangers had no authority to conduct such a raid.
