ISLAMABAD: The National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) has decided to reopen all markets and shops from May 17 in the country.
The NCOC meeting was chaired by Planning Minister and head of the NCOC Asad Umar to review the latest coronavirus epidemic in the country.
The meeting decided to allow shops and markets to remain open from May 17 until 8 pm.
All the offices will be opened under normal working hours from May 17, but 50 per cent attendance will be maintained.
It was also decided in the meeting to lift a ban on the intra- and inter-city public transport from May 16, allowing them to resume their services with 50 per cent occupancy by following the standard operating procedures (SOPs).
The NCOC also allowed the passenger trains to run with 70 per cent occupancy.
