KARACHI: Former UC Nazim Imran Saeed Baghpati inaugurated a new RO Water Filtration Plant at Mahmoodabad under Alkhidmat Karachi’s Clean Water Program. Musab bin Abdul Qadir, Manager Clean Water Program, and other officials of Alkhidmat were present on this occasion.
Mahmoodabad is a densely populated part of the city where there was an acute scarcity of clean drinking water. Local residents appreciated this provision of clean water by Alkhidmat.
Mr. Imran Saeed Baghpati said that Alkhidmat was one of the most important NGOs in Pakistan that was serving people in various ways. He mentioned the importance of clean water and its scarcity in Karachi as well as other cities in Pakistan. He appreciated the fact that Alkhidmat had taken the initiative of providing clean drinking water to the people of Karachi.
He also called upon the generous citizens of Karachi to contribute to Alkhidmat’s Clean Water program under which more than 50 filtration plants were being operated.
