Alkhidmat conducts fumigation campaign in cattle sheds

KARACHI: Alkhidmat Karachi has initiated a special fumigation campaign on the advice of Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi Ameer Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman to counter the spread of lumpy, a skin disease that is affecting cows in Karachi.

Volunteers and officials from Alkhidmat Karachi conducted the thorough spraying of insecticide in all cattle sheds in Bhains Colony, in the presence of Naib Ameer JI District Malir Qadre Gul, Dairy Farm Association General Secretary Shaukat Mukhtar and owners of the cattle sheds.

On this occasion, Shaukat Mukhtar thanked Alkhidmat for its efforts to save the animals and prevent the further spread of the disease that was causing serious concern to the cattle owners.

Naveed Ali Baig, CEO Alkhidmat Karachi termed the disease a tribulation from Allah and said that Alkhidmat was trying to play its part in its prevention by initiating the fumigation campaign in Bhains Colony. He assured everyone that Alkhidmat had always stood by the citizens of Karachi in times of need and would continue the campaign in other cattle sheds in the city too.
