ISLAMABAD: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Wednesday said that PTI leader Ali Zaidi was trying to the make the Joint Investigation Team JIT report controversial to benefit the accused.
Speaking to the media after appearing before the Rawalpindi NAB in the Roshan House case here, the chief minister said:” I feel that the Ali Zaidi’s irresponsible statement on the JIT report about Uzair Baloch is an attempt to benefit the accused involved in the case.”
He added that the JIT report bears signatures of all seven members. The PTI leader is trying make the report controversial.
” The Law Department had forbidden us to issue the JIT report,” the chief minister said. We issued the report on political pressure, but the shipping minister had shown irresponsibility. We don’t know where from he got another JIT report.
Murad said that the PTI leader had waved the JIT report on the floor of the house whereas there is only one report is prepared in each case.
