Ali Haider Gilani, the abducted son of former Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, finally arrives in Pakistan after three year on Wednesday.
Jubilant and excited family members received Ali Haider at Allama Iqbal Intentional airport’s VIP lounge.
It is pertinent to mention here that, Ali Haider was handed over to Pakistan Ambassador to Afghanistan Syed Ibrar Hussain at the ministry of defence in Kabul, from where he had be taken to Kabul airport to travel to Pakistan.
A special aircraft of Prime Minister flown to Afghan capital Kabul’s airport to fly Ali Gilani back home.
It is pertinent to mention here that, Ali Haider Gilani, who was abducted from Multan three years back, was recovered in a joint operation carried out by the Afghan and US security forces in the areas bordering Paktia and Ghazni in Afghanistan.
Earlier, Sartaj Aziz said, “Ali Haider Gilani at present is at the Bagram air-base and will be handed over to the Pakistani Ambassador in Kabul morning.”
