KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi Ameer Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has said that the volunteers of Khidmat pulled the drowned people out of the water during the recent rain in the city.

There is a grant of Rs1 billion for Karachi but the drains could not be cleaned, he said while talking to media here on Wednesday.

Hafiz Naeem said that there was no transparency in the affairs of the government as ration could not reach the affected people.

The volunteers of Al-Khidmat delivered ration to the people, for which I pay tribute to them, the JI leader said.

He said that people have trusted us in every era.

If the PPP’s provincial and the MQM’s local government had fulfilled their responsibility, Karachi would not have faced such a bad situation.

The PPP, MQM And PTI has destroyed the city and the people of Karachi rejected these three parties, Hafiz Naeem added.
