Aitzaz Ahsan advises govt to pass opposition’s Panama bill

ISLAMABAD: Opposition Leader in the Senate Ch Aitzaz Ahsan has said that it was the compulsion of the federal government to seek Opposition’s help in the face of November 2 sit in announced by PTI chairman.

Talking to media, Aitzaz said that the government could come out of the mess if  it passes the Panam Bill tabled in Senate by the opposition. He said that everyone knew when the government approached the opposition.

He said that on October 16 PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto had presented four demands and government must accept these demands. He said that detailed talks were not held between PPP and the government.

It is to be mentioned here that the government had constituted a team to approach opposition parties in the face of mounting pressure from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan over Panama Leaks issue.  The government team has held talks with the PPP and other opposition parties.
