In an another incident of Islamophobia, Canada’s largest air carrier Air Canada forced a 12-year-old girl to remove her headscarf.
Flight manager of Air Canada pulled Abdelrahman, who is a member of US squash team, during the team’s flight from San Francisco to Toronto.
“At gate after passing the security and getting my passport checked the person asked me to remove headscarf,” Abdelrahman spoke to Canadian media.
“I requested an empty room but the staff took me to corner and forcibly took my headscarf off,” she added.
