ISLAMABAD: Auditor General Pakistan has decided to audit Pakistan Hockey Federation after the worst performance by the Green Shirts in the World Hockey League.
The decision has been made in a meeting headed by Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
It was decided that the Auditor general will audit last five years of Pakistan hockey and if in case any fraud the case will be sent to National Accountability Bureau (NAB), sources said.
It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan hockey team came on 8th position in the WHL. The Green-Shirts won only match against Poland while played two draw against India and France.
The team also failed to qualify for the Rio Olympics for the first time.
