Peshawar Zalmi owner, Javed Afridi is keen to watch his side Benoni Zalmi take on Shah Rukh Khan’s Cape Town Knight Riders in Global T20 League.
“Shah Rukh has roots in Peshawar. People are looking forward to see his team take on Benoni Zalmi. After the success of the Pakistan Super League, there is a buzz regarding the Global T20 League,” said the Zalmi owner.
Afridi, expressed displeasure over the lack of cricket between Pakistan and India. Cricket between both neighbours remain a distant dream due to political tensions between both countries.
“Unfortunately, India and Pakistan cricketers won’t be playing against each other in the Global League and it would be left to Pakistan owners versus Indian owners,” he added.
