KABUL: The Afghan government has offered a share in power to the Taliban, who are rapidly taking control of cities of the country.
According to the Afghan media, President Ashraf Ghani had made the offer of power-sharing to the group.
The Afghan government also urged Taliban not to launch attacks on civilians, which the group had termed as an allegation.
Meanwhile, Taliban had taken control of Ghazni city, which is 150 kilometres away from capital Kabul, a senior lawmaker said.
