Administrator suspends services of nine officers

KARACHI: Administrator Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) Sajjad Hussain Abbasi has suspended services of nine officers of Grade 17 to 19 on account of delay in the implementation of Sindh High Court orders for removal of residential quarters of KMC employees inside the Jahangir Park.

The suspended officers had the responsibility of shifting of residence of KMC employees from Jahangir Park to apartments in Mustafa Colony Korangi and submit its report to SHC on 31st October 2015. However these officers failed to do so and received the punishment of suspension from service.

The officers who were suspended include director land Aqeel Baig (Grade 18), director land anti encroachments Mazhar Khan (Grade 19), Addl Director Land Anti-Encroachments Korangi Moeen Ghori (Grade 18), Deputy Director Anti Encroachments Korangi Asif Jetha (Grade 17), Director Estate KDA Mohammad Munir (Grade 18), Addl Director Estate KDA Sohail Qaimkhani (Grade 17), Deputy Director Estate Kaleem Abbas (Grade 17), Deputy Director Estate KDA Akmal Dar (Grade 17) and Deputy Director Estate Mohammd Irshad (Grade 17).
