Additional Secretary of Punjab has sent another letter to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) seeking more time to organise Local Bodies’ election due to floods in different parts of the province.
Additional Secretary of Punjab wrote letter to the ECP for extension in the date of LB elections in the province.
According to the letter, Add. Secretary said that all government staff members are currently busy in relief activities in flood-hit parts of the province which deprived the provincial government to on-time organisation of the LB polls.
