MIRPURKHAS: Due to shortage of tap water the city dwellers have been facing, the Divisional Commissioner Mirpurkhas has imposed ban on cultivation of rice crop in Mirpurkhas division.
Following directive from the DC, action against growers of rice cultivations has been initiated by a team under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner Ghulam Hussain Kaneho of Taluka Hussain Bux Mari.
He was accompanied by DSP headquarter Atiq ur Rehman, Mukhtiarkar Taluka Hussain Bux Mari Abdul Qayoom Laghari, SDO Jamrao Canal West Abdul Jabbar Memon, SDO Jamrao Canal East Abdul Hameed Rachar and deputy director agriculture Ghulam Qadir Khaskhali.
