PESHAWAR: The police on Thursday arrested an accused with a huge cache of weapons while his accomplices managed to escape.
According to Senior Superintendent of Police (Operations) Peshawar, the police on a tip-off conducted a search operation in Bhana Mari police station jurisdiction in the city. After little resistance, the police arrested a culprit with arms, including four Kalashnikovs, 40 pistols, three guns and thousands of rounds, while his cohorts fled.
