ISLAMABAD: Opposition on Tuesday agreed on a draft of terms of references (ToRs) to investigate Panama leaks revelations.
After the opposition parties’ meeting, Pakistan People’s Party senior leader, Aitzaz Ahsan told media that all the parties unanimously agreed on the ToRs. While unveiling the ToRs, he said accountability must begin with the prime minister and his family. The CJP-led commission will decide the PM’ case within three months and the other’s cases within a year.
He said that opposition parties could not make consensus on PM’s resignation but PPP firm with its demand. Aitzaz said they formed the ToRs with the consensus of all the parties.
Pakistan People’s Party, Jamaat-e-Islami, Awami National Party, Awami Muslim League , Muttahida Qaumi Movement and other parties participated in the meeting.
