LAHORE: : Abu Dhabi bound Pakistan International Airline (PIA) flight had to make crash landing at Lahore Airport after it hit a bird in midair here on Saturday.
Airport sources said that a PIA plane hit a bird by midair soon after it took off for Abu Dhabi.
Engine of the plane was damaged in the incident but the plane narrowly escaped of crash as the pilot hurried in contacting back the airport authorities and making crash landing at Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore.
The flight was rescheduled due to the occurrence and it flew for the destination with a delay of about five hours.
