ISLAMABAD: PML-N leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has claimed that Yousuf Raza Gilani will be elected senator by an overwhelming majority.
Former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi while talking to media alongwith Ahsan Iqbal said that Senate elections are elections and it is not a no-confidence motion.
He said that the release of Hamza Shahbaz was not the result of any deal. The system of revenge is a failure in the name of accountability while the Election Commission made the right decision on the Daska elections. Our fight is not for power but for the correctness of the system.
Abbasi said that everyone will see what happens in the Senate elections and Yousuf Raza Gilani will be elected senator by an overwhelming majority.
