Three reports of standing bodies presented in Senate

ISLAMABAD: As many as three reports of various standing committees including Interior and Narcotics, Federal Education and Professional Training and Information Technology and Telecommunication in Senate on Thursday.

Col (r) Tahir Hussain Mashhadi on behalf of Chairman Standing Committee on Interior Abdul Rehman Malik presented the report on the bill to make provisions for prohibition of corporal punishment against children [The Prohibition of Corporal Punishment Bill, 2016].

Chairperson Standing Committee on Federal Education Rahila Magsi presented the report on the bill further to amend the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Act, 1975 [The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (Amendment) Bill, 2016] in the House.

Similarly, Chairman Standing Committee on Information Technology presented a special report of the committee on the problems faced by the USF company in execution of its projects in Balochistan, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and FATA.
