ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party Senator Saeed Ghani in a statement has said that it is surprising that Federal Government has taken no action on report by Justice Qazi Faez Isa on Quetta tragedy despite three weeks since the report was made public.
Senator Ghani said that this means that the federal government has put the report in cold storage. Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan is still occupying interior ministry and the prime minister did not remove him. How this government will implement National Action Plan which cannot take action against its Interior Minister who is the hurdle in implementation of NAP, Senator Ghani asked.
Senator Ghani said that innocent people are target of this government as former Federal Minister Dr. Asim Hussain is languishing in jail without any reason but perpetrators of Quetta carnage are free.
He asked that does Nawaz government want to use these extremists in the next elections. He demanded immediate removal of Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar and implementation of NAP all over the country especially in Punjab.
