India finally get redemption over Bangladesh

MIRPUR: India have finally got the redemption as the man in Blue emerged victorious in the in 3rd and last One Day international (ODI) of the series against Bangladesh played at Shere Bangla National Stadium on Wednesday.

Bangladesh have lost their first match after World Cup as India beat them by 77 runs.

Sabbir Rahman scored 43 while Soumya Sarkar made 40 to help their team but not enough to cross the winning line.

Whole team was all out on 240 in 47 runs. Suresh Raina picked up three wickets while Ravichandran Ashwin and Dhawal Kulkarni grabbed two wickets each for the visitors.

However Bangladesh won the ODI series 2-1 against India.

Earlier, India batting first in the last match of the series scored massive total of 317 runs thanks to Shikhar Dhawan who made 75 while skipper MS Dhoni played the hand of 69 runs.

Mashrafe Mortaza picked up three wickets while Mustafizur Rahman managed to pick up two wickets for the home side.
