LONDON: British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) has alleged in its documentary that Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) is receiving funds from India.

BBC  quoting its sources said that UK authorities who are investigating MQM alleged money laundering case also found list of weapons which are party’s property.

A Pakistani official told the BBC that India has trained hundreds of MQM militants over last 10 years.

“India has trained hundreds of MQM militants in explosives, weapons and sabotage over the last 10 years in camps in north and north-east India,” BBC said quoting Pakistani official.

The similar types of allegations leveled by SSP Malir Rao Anwar, who presented two men who went to India via Thailand to be trained by the Indian intelligence agency RAW.

In the course of those inquiries the police found around £500,000 ($787,350) in the MQM’s London offices and in the home of MQM leader Altaf Hussain. That prompted a second investigation into possible money laundering.
