SBP to remain closed on January 2

SBP reduces key policy rate by 200bps to 17.5 per cent

ISLAMABAD: State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) will remain closed for public dealing on January 2, 2017 (Monday) and observed as bank holiday.

All banks, Development Finance Institutions (DFIs), Microfinance Finance Banks (MFBs) would, therefore, remain closed for public dealing on the above date, said a statement issued by SBP.

However, all employees of banks, DFIs and MFBs would attend the office as usual.
