ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Member of National Assembly Asad Umar said on Wednesday held Prime Minister of Pakistan responsible for power crisis in Karachi and Pakistan.
Addressing the speaker in Pakistan’s National Assembly, Umar lamented that people of Karachi are disowned both by Sindh and federal government as neither takes responsibility for the frequent power outages in Karachi amid the killer heatwave.
“Are the people of Karachi only there to be taxed”, asked an angry Umar.
He asked the speaker that where are the promised Gadani Power Park Project and Nandipur power project adding that the ruling PML-N made tall claims of ending load shedding in six months.
The PTI leader accepted that the previous government too is equally responsible for the energy crisis in the city.
